Excellent for new players – KVUO
Great Podcast. As a F2P casual player of about 6 months, I learn something useful almost every episode. Well produced and entertaining hosts.

You inspired us…
You may remember one of us (NonstopRug – Rob) from last week (you read his iTunes review on the air). Well we wanted to connect about something exciting. My brother and I have been listening to your podcast for a while and an episode or two ago you mentioned the new Super Cell game, Clash Royale. Well we wanted to let you know that we were inspired by your Hearthstone podcast and wanted to do something similar for new players to Clash Royale. We just started our very first podcast two weeks ago and just released our second episode. We gave you guys a shout out during our first episode because, like yourselves, we wanted a central place to “bring the fun” for Clash Royale.
We have some cool things going like an in game clan that people can join to play together and give us feedback, a new Twitter account, and a freshly updated blog. We are new to the podcasting scene so it’s all still a work in progress. The name of our show is “Cast Royale – The Clash Royale Podcast for Casual Players” – “Cast Royale” for short.

Thank you so much for reading this and we hope you’ll help us spread the word about our new show 🙂
Keep up the great work!

So far I feel that most of the cards released seem to be balanced or underpowered. Do you think blizzard is being conservative and if so, do you think they are trying to avoid having another piloted shredder or sludge bleacher? Or are they saving all of OP cards for release closer to the expansion? Thanks guys!
Keep up the good work LOTI!! You guys are awesome.
P.S. I am going to Dreamhack with my wife and son. Hope we can meet and greet.
Just my opinion: I think people are a little hasty when it comes to judging some of these cards that are released (myself included). I think we all need to temper ourselves until we see the whole collection and take these cards as individuals with a grain of salt. Here’s why.
The new card N’Zoth was just released. That changes Infested Tauren’s value in standard and people were blasting this card. Currently the only deathrattle 4 mana cards that is worth anything (currently staying in standard) are the rogue’s Tomb Pillager and the warlock’s dreadsteed. All 4 mana neutral deathrattle minions will be leaving standard. Infested Tauren will fill that 4 mana deathrattle spot where no card (except rogue and warlock) currently sits in standard.
With that said, we need to temper our opinions on the Forbidden cards as well, because another card may have synergy with these cards. Such as: “When you play a Forbidden card, summon a minion of the same cost” or “Give this minion +3/+3 if you play a forbidden card.”
That does it for this episode. You can email the show at [email protected] You can also visit our website at legendoftheinnkeeper.com where we will post the show notes with the episode that has links to all the information we discussed.
